However, Apple and Google offer text-to-speech solutions that you can use to read your ebook aloud on a mobile device. Highlighting and Annotations | Internet Explorer 11 or newer/Microsoft Windows: 8 or later Safari 12 or newer/Apple macOS: 10.14 or later | Internet Explorer and Safari have settings that sometimes may interfere with the overall functionality of creating highlights or annotations in the ebook. If you experience any issues while using either of those programs, please try using Chrome instead, as it offers a slightly better experience. |
Offline Reader | Chrome 74 or newer/Microsoft Windows: 8 or later Safari 12 or newer & Chrome 74 or newer/Apple macOS: 10.14 or later | Currently, the Offline Reader only functions when using Safari or Chrome on Apple devices or Chrome on Windows and Android devices. You can try using the Offline Reader using other internet browsers but we currently only support the Offline Reader within Safari and Chrome. Please note Chrome 90 will stop supporting offline reading and users looking to use the offline feature at that point will need to rely on Safari. This will likely take place around April 2021. |

If you experience issues when using Safari, please make sure your cookies setting is set to Allow from websites I visit or Always allow and ensure you have JavaScript enabled. |

All mobile devices (phones and tablets) | Some older Student Sites include resources that require Adobe Flash to function properly. Those resources will not function on most mobile devices since Adobe Flash is not compatible with those devices (especially devices running Apple iOS). |
