Enabling Cookies within Internet Browsers

This page will guide you through the steps of how to enable cookies within your internet browser. Most of Norton's digital products require cookies to be enabled to ensure that they function properly. Windows/Internet Explorer

Click on the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the window and select Internet options from the menu.

Select the Privacy tab and click on the Advanced button.

Make sure Accept is selected under First-party Cookies, Accept is selected under Third-party Cookies, and the box next to Always allow session cookies is checked.

Windows/Microsoft Edge

Click on the menu icon in the upper-right corner of the window and select Settings from the menu.

Locate the Advanced settings section (scroll down) and click on the View advanced settings button.

Locate the Cookies section (scroll down) and select Don't block cookies from the drop-down menu.

Windows/Chrome

Click on the menu icon in the upper-right corner of the window and select Settings from the menu.

Scroll down and click on the Advanced link near the bottom of the window.

Scroll down and click on the Content settings section.

Click on the Cookies section.

Make sure the switch to the right of Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended) is turned on (the switch is on the right side of the bar and the bar is blue, not grey) and the switch to the right of Block third-party cookies is turned off (the switch is on the left side of the bar and the bar is grey, not blue).

Windows/Firefox

Click on the menu icon in the upper-right corner of the window and select Options from the menu.

Select the Privacy section and make sure Remember history is selected in the drop-down menu under the History heading.

Windows/Opera

Click on the Opera menu in the upper-left corner of the window and select Settings from the menu.

Select the Privacy & security section, locate the Cookies heading, and make sure Allow local data to be set (recommended) is selected.

Mac/Safari

Click on the Safari menu in the upper-left corner of the screen and select Preferences from the menu.

Select the Privacy tab and make sure either Allow from websites I visit or Always allow is selected.

Mac/Chrome

Click on the menu icon in the upper-right corner of the window and select Settings from the menu.

Scroll down and click on the Advanced link near the bottom of the window.

Scroll down and click on the Content settings section.

Click on the Cookies section.

Make sure the switch to the right of Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended) is turned on (the switch is on the right side of the bar and the bar is blue, not grey) and the switch to the right of Block third-party cookies is turned off (the switch is on the left side of the bar and the bar is grey, not blue).

Mac/Firefox

Click on the menu icon in the upper-right corner of the window and select Preferences from the menu.

Select the Privacy section and select Remember history from the drop-down menu under the History heading.

Mac/Opera

Click on the Opera menu in the upper-left corner of the screen and select Preferences from the menu.

Select the Privacy & security section, locate the Cookies heading, and make sure Allow local data to be set (recommended) is selected.

iOS/Safari

Open the Settings app.

Select Safari from the list on the left and tap on Block Cookies in the list on the right.

Make sure either Allow from Websites I Visit or Always Allow is selected.

Android/Chrome

Tap on the menu icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Tap on the Settings link in the menu.

Under the Advanced heading, tap on the Site settings link.

Tap on the Cookies link.

Make sure the switch is turned on (the switch is on the right side of the bar and the bar is blue, not grey) and the check box to the right of Allow third-party cookies is selected.
